Description
- Open Dec 27 – March 7, 2021. (weather permitting)
- bookings open on a rolling basis starting Mondays for the following Saturday to Friday
- bookings can be made up to 2 hours ahead (if there is availability)
- drop ins cannot be accommodated
- we do not have a cancellation or waiting list
- 1.2 km loop (one way) around 12 acres of cranberries
- book arrival time (to space out visitors and allow social distancing)
- late arrivals (30 minutes) may not be accommodated
- upon arrival, check in at booth for passes and directions
- passes are for 2 hours
Things to Know:
- we recommend you arrive 15-20 minutes before you booking to check in, get passes, etc.
- rentals are available via our take-out window ($10/half day, first come/first served)
- skate sharpening is available ($10, first come/first served – we try to be as timely as possible, but there may be a wait)
- come dressed for the weather (indoor space is not available)
- manage your belongings (lockers and storage not available)
- we are not responsible for lost or stolen items
- skate guards are a good idea if changing at your car
- trails are weather dependant
- decisions around trail conditions and status are made by our ops crew
- conditions can range from poor to excellent and are not guaranteed
- trails can be closed with no notice for safety
- recommended for intermediate skaters and above
- must be able to skate 1.2 km minimum
- due to COVID, trail is one direction only
- outdoor, natural ice surface can be variable
- must be able to skate 1.2 km minimum
- children must be supervised by an adult
- Permitted: skating, helmets HIGHLY recommended
- Not Permitted (for safety and/or traffic flow): walking, strollers, sleds, pets, hockey, snowshoes
How are we keeping you safe?
- everything takes place outside, so dress for the weather!
- we have enhanced safety and cleaning protocols to ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- participation is restricted, walk-ins cannot be accommodated
- please observe COVID guidelines
- practice hand hygiene
- social distancing must be observed
- masks must be worn in buildings and anywhere physical distance cannot be maintained
- Please do not visit if you are sick, have been out of country in the last 14 days or suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19
- We cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID-19. By visiting us, you assume the risk of such exposure.
- We recommend you download the COVID-19 app for notifications of possible exposure
The fine print:
- activities must be pre-booked and pre-paid
- bookings cannot be rescheduled or refunded
- snowshoe trail passes with free rentals, an alternate date, or a refund may be offered if the ice trail has to close on short (day of) notice
- if we have to cancel bookings for any reason, a refund may be requested
