There’s Treasure on our Trails!
There are geocaches, rock paintings and natural features scattered around the farm waiting to be discovered through geocaching.
Geocaches
Geocaching is a form of high tech treasure hunting that uses a GPS device instead of a treasure map. Input the co-ordinates, and start searching. You can download a GPS app on your smartphone or bring a handheld GPS device.

Pictographs
But that’s not all!
While you’re hiking, there are other things to discover. On Orville Lake Trail, local artist Janette McNaughton painted pictographs for hikers to find.
Natural Features
The farm is also a treasure trove of natural wonders. Orville Lake Trail has a self-guided Eco Tour explaining many of the natural features found here. On Medora Creek Trail, you can find the Erratic Garden or the spot where wild cranberries grow. On Pioneer trail, discover the pioneer fence and one of the largest erratics we’ve ever seen. Come check it out!
