Booking

All activities (besides shopping!) can be booked up to a day ahead. We will accommodate drop-ins when we can, but we have limited capacity. Bookings are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Bog to Bottle Tour

• allow 60-90 minutes
• Canadian Signature Experience!
• must be 19 or older
• guided farm tour (30-40 minutes)
  • dress for the weather and for walking on gravel & uneven ground
• tutored wine tasting (20-30 minutes)
  • guided sampling of wines from dry to dessert

Tutored Wine Tasting

• guided sampling of 6 wines from dry to dessert
• allow 30 minutes
• must be 19 or older
• Also Available:
  • self-directed flight of 4 wines
  • wine by the glass

Cheese Fondue & Wine on the Patio

• available daily – can be pre-booked up to 2 hours ahead
• must be 19 or older
• cheese fondue with mulled wine, wine flight or glass of wine
• enjoy at our fire tables on our patio overlooking the Old Marsh

Snowshoe Trails

• over 10 km of groomed trails
• open (weather permitting):
  • 10-4:30
• $12/adult, $9/U12, weekdays
• $15/adult, $12/U12, weekends & holidays
• rentals available ($15/half day)
  • we don’t reserve equipment
  • rentals available whenever trails are open
  • on-site use only
  • aluminum, easy to use with flat-soled snow boots, as easy as walking
• Permitted:
  • pets on leashes, sleighs, toboggans
  • not groomed for x-country, but that use is permitted
• Not Permitted:
  • hiking (without snowshoes)

• Our Café take-out window is open Friday to Sunday!

• Mon to Thurs, enjoy pre-packaged snacks & goodies through our store.
• Everyday, try a flight of 4 wines, or a glass of wine, cider or spritzer
• Indoor and outdoor seating available

No outside food is permitted on the farm. Picnic sites are available at Jaspen Park in Bala.

• Mrs J’s preserves and Maple Syrup
• Made in house baked goods and frozen delights
• parking is free but limited to 1/2 an hour

Parking FAQ

Parking on the road is not permitted (according to Township bylaw – those parking on the road will be towed). Access is limited to farm parking lots only.
